Life is DELIcious at Løkka Deli, no pun intended. Løkka Deli turns into Løkka Bistro on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, where they, amongst other things, serve up Steak Frites for 199 NOK and a Dirty Martini for 69 NOK, which in itself makes this cutie place well worth a visit.
Cheap romance
This cutie place is somewhat of a hidden treasure. During the daytime in the weekdays the place serves up as a more traditional deli, with Pastrami Reuben, Cubano and Tuna Melt Sandwiches. Come Thursday and Løkka Deli is Løkka Bistro, with a couple of romantically candle lit, white clothed tables.
There are only a very small amount of tables available so booking is recommended. And with Dirty Martinis for 69 kr this place is always full.

Want some anchovies on your toast?
YES please. The only other place who has better anchovies toast in this town is Nektar Vinbar, and they now officially have some serious competition. Perfect blend of salt and smooth. YUM. Very reasonably priced to 49 kr. We tried out their popcorn chicken and lamb skewers starters too, which was also delish.

Steak frites, oui, oui
Nothing really beats a really good steak frites. I think it would be my last meal. Tried it with both chimichurri and pepper sauce. Norwegian as we are, more sauce was preferred, so pepper sauce comes out as the winner. Perfectly cooked meat and fries. Happy times. Attentive service, DELIcious food, cosy ambience and very good prices. One of our new favorite Oslo haunts.
